The Shipshape Challenge: Judging Criteria
Your project can earn up to 100 points in the following categories:
- Overall Effect This is where the “Wow” factor comes in! Judges will be looking at your project concept, execution, and style (and considering creativity and originality).

Local Color & Character Is your project somehow unique to the town of Warren? Does it take into account the property’s history, architectural style, neighborhood, and environment. For businesses, is your project a reflection of your craft, trade, or industry?

- Landscape Consider the overall landscape of your project space. Are there plantings, like gardens, containers, or ground cover? Remember, landscape is more than just plants; it’s also structural (like walls, walkways, paint and signage, and outdoor furnishings or artwork).

- Green & Smart Is your project built to last? Did you use local and/or re-purposed materials? Is it neat and easy to maintain year-round? Does it save or conserve resources? Is it safe and non-toxic?
